Overview
Advent has been in business since 1990 and has grown from Victoria to be National and International. We currently employ hundreds of staff Australia wide and overseas, including full-time, part-time and casual employees due to the nature of demand in our industry.
The Advent Security Group prides itself on the ability to continually source the most professional security personnel in the industry. This process involves not only on-going recruitment, but also updated training programs for current personnel. This ensures that all our personnel are up-to-date with all the latest developments in the security industry.
Advent Security personnel are assessed on job suitability prior to placement. Security personnel are then provided with additional site-specific training, as part of our on-going commitment to exceed Clients expectations.
Advent Security recognises that in order to source and keep our personnel, Advent must provide good working conditions and pay excellent wages. At Advent we believe we have succeeded, as our personnel retention rate is well above industry standards.

The Difference
What makes the Advent Security Group different from other providers? We believe among other things its Advents “hands on” approach by our management team.
Our structure is designed to ensure, that our management is fully aware of our Clients’ procedures and requirements, as well as our security personnel’s needs and issues.
- All Managers regularly visit the personnel on site to discuss issues, and impress upon staff that they are valued members of the Advent team.
- All work flexible hours, to allow them to regularly visit our personnel on sites after hours and on weekends. By doing so, they can personally discuss issues with staff and ensure our commitment to our clients is being maintained.
- By visiting sites on a regular basis, the Managers are up-to-date with site specifics. At the same time gaining valuable site knowledge that allows discussion on a senior level, regarding concerns that may be outside the control of Advent Security. This ensures our Clients benefit from our approach to value added service.
- Advent Field Supervisor’s conduct regular visits to all sites, ensuring personnel are equipped with all the tools they need to exceed our Clients expectations. This includes uniforms, stationary and documentation. Site audits are conducted to ensure customer satisfaction and that all procedures are being adhered to.
As a result of the above processes, Advent Security Services endeavors to take care of our most precious assets – our employees. By doing so, all of our personnel are pro-active and exceed our Client’s expectations on a regular basis.

Advent Security Services was incorporated in 1990 and is 100% Australian owned, providing security to both the public and private sectors.
