This NAIDOC Week, Advent Security proudly honours the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
At the heart of our celebration is a powerful artwork commissioned by renowned Kalkadoon artist, Chern’ee Sutton. This piece tells the story of Advent’s ongoing journey – one that is guided by the values of inclusion, protection, and community.
Through vibrant colours and symbolic detail, Chern’ee’s artwork pays tribute to the diverse and enduring spirit of First Nations peoples, while also reflecting our deep respect for Country and our commitment to walking alongside Indigenous communities.
As a business, we recognise that reconciliation won’t be achieved by celebrating one time a year – we must take steps every day to build stronger, more inclusive partnerships and workplaces. That’s why we’re proud to display this artwork across our business, as both a visual representation of our values and a reminder of the shared path forward.
Throughout NAIDOC Week, members of the Advent Security management team will be attending community events across the country – in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland – to connect, listen, learn, and show our ongoing support.
These events are a chance to celebrate culture, acknowledge history, and strengthen the relationships that form the foundation of our work.
