Kickin’ with a Cuz
for a brighter future

Advent Security’s Indigenous and Diversity Manager Jade North runs the Kickin’ with a Cuz program, an inspiring Indigenous football program that creates pathways for young Indigenous people to embrace the beautiful game of football, while also developing crucial life skills. Advent’s partnership with this incredible initiative stems from a shared vision of empowerment and support for Indigenous communities.

Indigenous communities in Australia have a rich history and a unique cultural identity. However, they also face challenges, including issues related to access to education and opportunities. Kickin’ with a Cuz recognises this and seeks to address it head-on by creating a platform for youth to explore their potential in the world of football.

Kickin’ with a Cuz goes beyond the football field. It’s about instilling vital values such as teamwork, leadership, and discipline. These values are not only critical in sports, but are essential for success in all aspects of life. Through this program, young participants learn the value of working together towards a common goal, taking charge when needed, and honing their self-discipline; skills that will serve them well as they navigate the challenges of adulthood.

The power of football lies in its ability to unite people from diverse backgrounds, and Kickin’ with a Cuz taps into this to foster inclusivity. Football has the unique capacity to transcend boundaries, allowing individuals to come together, learn from one another, and celebrate their shared passion for the game.

Our partnership with Kickin’ with a Cuz is a commitment to the well-being and development of our Indigenous communities. Advent Security is dedicated to supporting initiatives that create opportunities, inspire growth, and nurture the next generation of leaders.

We are excited to be part of this incredible journey towards a brighter, more inclusive future. Together, we look forward to witnessing the positive impact this initiative will have on the lives of young Indigenous individuals, both on and off the football field.
