Peter (PJ) Benney is the Founder and Owner of Advent Security, bringing more than four decades of experience across law enforcement, security and risk management. A former Victoria Police officer, PJ has led Advent Security since its establishment in 1990, building the company into a trusted provider of security and risk management solutions across Australia and New Zealand.
Casey Benney is the Chief Operating Officer of Advent Security, playing a key role in the company’s daily operations and continued growth. With strong industry knowledge, leadership and a practical problem-solving approach, Casey is committed to supporting Advent’s people, clients and operational excellence.
Justin Benney is the Sales and Marketing Director of Advent Security, combining the company’s strong security heritage with a forward-thinking approach to innovation and client service. With a deep understanding of the security and risk management industry, Justin has played an important role in expanding Advent’s services and building strong client partnerships across Australia and New Zealand.
As the General Manager at Advent Facilities Management, David oversees the operations and performance of a diverse portfolio of facilities services for clients across various sectors. With extensive industry experience, he has successfully led process improvement initiatives, supported new business development, and contributed to enhanced customer satisfaction and client retention.
Natalie is a CPA with 18 years of experience in the manufacturing sector, bringing extensive expertise in financial management and accounting. She joined the Advent Security team in early 2025 as Chief Financial Officer, drawing on her industry experience to bring strong financial leadership and commercial insight to the business.
Paul is a highly experienced security industry leader with an extensive background in contract governance, operational oversight, risk management and performance assurance across aviation, maritime, critical infrastructure and government security environments.
Paul Gerard has more than 20 years with Advent Security and more than 26 years’ experience in the security industry. He has held senior operational and management roles, including Regional Manager, Operations Manager, State Manager and General Manager, giving him broad experience in contract governance, workforce leadership, client relationship management and frontline security service oversight.
